Insane table tops

Flat Tables
The light-dark quality of the table’s smooth surface is achieved by pouring coloured-epoxy onto the (originally) uneven surface. The thickness of the solidified epoxy resin on the surface varies with the undulations of the wood. We created a colourful table top with a range of playful woodworks. We used a charmingly curved antique wooden board, assembled pieces in various ways, and made holes in the components to create unevenness in the surfaces.
